A vision is a special sight.

People may see them in a dream. They might see them in a trance. These sights often show a big truth.

Some people call these a revelation. This is a way to learn a secret truth.

There are different ways to have a vision. One type is an intellectual vision. This is when the mind gets a deep idea. You do not use your eyes to see it. Another type is an imaginary vision. In this kind, you do not hear or see anything. But your mind feels the same way as if you did. A third type is a corporeal vision. This is a sight for the eyes of the body. A person might see a real shape.

Many people in history have had visions. Jeremiah saw a branch from an almond tree. Paul saw Jesus on a road. In 1829, three men saw golden plates. They said an angel showed them the plates. They also heard a voice from heaven. These stories help us learn about faith.
