These rocks are in a place called Bohemian Paradise. This area is also called Český ráj in Czech. The rocks are made of sandstone. Long ago, they were one flat plateau. A plateau is a large area of flat land. Over 60 million years, the rocks changed. Wind and rain hit the stone. This is called erosion. Erosion is when wind and water wear away rock. This way of changing shaped the tall towers. Some towers have very fun names. One is called the Elephant. Another is called the Eagle. You can also see the Monk and the Devil's Kitchen.

There is also a Leaning Tower. Many films use this place. They filmed shows like Britannia and Hellboy here. They also filmed the Little Mermaid. The site is a protected natural reserve. It has been protected since 1933.

This helps keep the rocks safe for the future.
