Climbing a skyscraper is a very hard job. Robert uses his strength to find small places to hold. He looks for window ledges and small frames. He also uses tiny bumps on the building walls. Some of his climbs last for several hours. He often has no place to rest while he climbs. He sometimes fastens a small bag of white chalk powder to his waist. This chalk helps his hands stay dry so he does not slip.
