Being a top leader means facing very hard jobs and tough choices. Bach had to help manage the Tokyo Olympics when they were moved to 2021 due to the pandemic. He also dealt with difficult issues regarding rules and fair play in sports. One big challenge involved how athletes from Russia could participate in the games.
