She believed art should be part of everything we use. This meant she did not just paint on canvas. She also designed beautiful fabrics, furniture, and even clothing. Her work used bright colors and geometric shapes like circles and squares. This style helped bring art into the homes and lives of many people. People still admire her for mixing fine art with everyday design.

One of her most special ideas was called simultaneous design.

This is a way of using colors so they affect each other. When two colors are placed side by side, they seem to change. Sonia and her husband, Robert Delaunay, used this to create movement in their work. They called their specific style Orphism. This movement focused on strong colors and shapes. It was a new way to look at the world through light and color.

Sonia's journey as an artist began a long time ago.
