Some renewable resources are actually "conditionally renewable." This means they are currently subject to excess human consumption. To use these sustainably, humans must stay within a "zero ecological footprint." This means using less than the Earth's capacity to regenerate. If overconsumption occurs, it can lead to the total and everlasting destruction of the resource. This includes vital areas like agricultural lands, healthy water, and soil.

In project management, these are the employees responsible for specific activities. Capital refers to durable produced goods used as inputs for further production. A typical example is machinery used in a factory. Capital can be tangible, like physical equipment, or intangible, like a corporate brand or a patent. 
Computer resources are another specialized category. A computer resource is any physical or virtual component with limited availability. These include means for input, processing, output, communication, and storage.
