Many Christians believe in a New Earth.

This idea comes from the Bible. It is found in the books of Isaiah, Peter, and Revelation. This belief is a main part of Christian teachings about the end of time. Some people call it the world to come.

In the Book of Revelation, a vision shows a new heaven and a new earth. The old things will pass away. In this new place, there will be no more death. There will also be no more crying or pain. The Bible says God will wipe every tear from people's eyes.

Some thinkers look at the Greek words for "new." They say the word means something is made better. It is like a renovation. The world might be cleaned or rebuilt. This could happen on our current earth. Or it could be a new planet.

The Roman Catholic Church links this to a New Creation. They see it as a way to live with God forever. Some say this new world will be called the New Jerusalem. It will be the home of God.
