Growing this cabbage takes careful work from farmers. It is an annual plant that grows best in cool seasons. The plant likes short, mild days to grow well. Farmers must give it plenty of water during its growth. This is very important when the cabbage head is forming. If it does not get enough water, the leaf tips might die.
