It is also called a tantric feast. People in different faiths use it. These faiths include Hinduism and Buddhism. Some followers also use the Bön tradition.

In these groups, people meet to chant. They use special hand signs called mudras. They may also dance or sing. These acts are part of a spiritual practice. This practice is called sadhana.

In Hindu tantra, the feast has five parts. These are known as the five Ms. They include meat, fish, grain, and alcohol. They also include sexual intercourse. Some people use these things in a real way. Others use them as symbols. Using symbols can help with meditation.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the feast is called a tsok. People offer it to deities or gurus. They may do this on certain lunar days. Some people use the feast to help others. They offer food to hungry spirits. In one practice, a person imagines offering their own body. This is a way to show care for all beings.
