Faina made her film debut in 1934 in a silent movie called Pyshka. She played a character named Madame Loiseau. A French writer named Romain Rolland loved her performance. Because of him, the film was shown in French cinemas. She later worked at many famous theaters. These included the Mayakovsky Theatre and the Mossovet Theatre. She worked with a director named Yuri Zavadsky there.
