In 1979, his series Life on Earth began to change how people saw nature. He worked with scientists to make sure his shows were very accurate. He traveled to many places, including Indonesia and China. His shows became a benchmark for how to film wildlife. He used a special, soft way of speaking to tell these stories. This helped people feel close to the animals he filmed.

Today, David uses his voice to help protect our planet.

He talks a lot about environmental causes. He wants to help restore biodiversity, which means the variety of living things. He also speaks about climate change and using renewable energy. He hopes people will eat less meat and protect more natural areas. His work helps us understand how we are all connected to nature.

By watching his shows, we can learn to care for the world.
