This process helps people connect across different lands. It has happened in many stages over a long time.

Long ago, people moved to trade goods. They also shared new religions. Later, trade routes like the Silk Road grew. In modern times, new tools changed everything. The internet and social media help us share music and art. Travel also lets people move between countries. This can change the culture of a new place.

Some things are now the same everywhere. You might see McDonald's or Starbucks in many nations.

Some people call this "Americanization." They worry that local traditions might disappear. They fear the world will become one single culture.

Other people see it differently. They think cultures mix to make something new. This is called hybridization. This mixing can lead to new ideas. However, it can also cause tension. People may clash when their ways of life are very different.
