Cultural history is a way to study the past. It looks at how groups of people lived. It does not just look at big events. It looks at how people act and think. This includes their arts and their manners.

Jacob Burckhardt helped start this study in the 1800s. He studied the Italian Renaissance. He looked at art and buildings. He also looked at money and daily life. Later, other thinkers like Johan Huizinga used his ideas.

These historians study many things. They look at festivals and big parties. They study how people tell stories. They also look at how ideas change over time. Some look at how people use tools or science. They even study how people use the internet today.

Some experts look at how people use media. This includes radio, films, and newspapers. They also study how groups remember the past. This helps us see the whole story of human life. It shows us how people lived in every part of their world.
