Globalism is a way to study our world. It looks at how different lands connect. This idea became popular in the 1940s. It grew after World War II.

Some people use globalism to talk about ideas. They might talk about market globalism. This is an idea about how trade works. Other people talk about justice globalism. This is an idea about being fair.

In the past, the United States had a big role. After the war, leaders wanted to shape the world. They used trade to link many nations. This is called economic integration. It means making separate economies work as one big group.

Today, many groups help countries work together. The United Nations is one example. These groups help people talk across long distances. Some people also use the word in a negative way. They may use it to talk about secret groups. They may even use it to argue against certain rules. Globalism is a big topic with many different views.
