The Chavda dynasty ruled a region in Gujarat, India. They ruled from around 690 to 942.

A famous leader named Vanraja founded a great city. The city was called Anahilavada. He chose the site with help from a shepherd named Anahila. The city was named after him. Vanraja was a very strong ruler. He built his power and made his city a capital.

Many kings ruled after Vanraja. His son, Yogaraja, ruled for about 35 years. One story says Yogaraja was sad because his sons took treasure from ships. He wanted his family to be seen as good kings.
