The atmosphere has four main layers. These are the troposphere, stratosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere. The lowest layer is the troposphere. It has many clouds. Some clouds are made of ammonia ice. These clouds form colorful stripes. Light stripes are called zones. Dark stripes are called belts.
