Adi had a brother named Rudolf. They worked together at first. They ran the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory. But the brothers had a big fight after World War II. They went their separate ways in 1948. Rudolf started his own company called Puma. Adi continued to grow Adidas. By the time Adi died, Adidas had 17 factories. It was a very big and successful business.
