She studies the tiny parts of cells. She is an expert in crystallography. This is a way to see the shapes of tiny things. She uses special tools to look at ribosomes. Ribosomes are small parts in a cell. They turn instructions into protein. Protein is very important for all living things.

Ada found a new way to study these parts. She used a method called cryo bio-crystallography. This helps scientists see very small details. Her work helps us understand how germs work. Some medicines, called antibiotics, stop germs by attacking ribosomes. Ada showed how these medicines work. This helps people make better drugs to fight sickness.

Ada won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009. She was the first woman from the Middle East to win it in science. She also won the Israel Prize. She works at the Weizmann Institute of Science. She is a leader who helps many other scientists.
