Ray had a very busy way of working. When he made his first film, he did almost everything himself. He wrote the script and chose the actors. He also composed the music and edited the film. To plan his movies, he used drawings called storyboards. These drawings showed every scene before the cameras started rolling. He even designed the titles and the posters for his movies. This helped him keep his unique vision for every project.
