"text": "Renaissance literature is a special way of writing from Europe. It grew from a big movement called the Renaissance. This movement began in Italy during the 14th century. It lasted a long time across the whole continent. Ideas from this time spread to the western world. People used writing to explore new ways of thinking.

Writers wanted to understand life and people better. They felt that stories could show how humans grow. This era changed how people shared their thoughts. \n\nAuthors used many new ways to create their work. They looked back at old Greek and Roman ideas. They used these old styles to build new things. This is called recovering classical Antiquity. They also used a way of thinking called humanism. This focus put humans at the center of ideas.

Writers also explored new ways to write poems. One example is the Spenserian stanza. They even created a new kind of writing called the essay. Michel de Montaigne was a famous writer of essays. \n\nThis era changed because of a very important invention. In the 1440s, Johannes Gutenberg made the printing press. This machine used movable type to print many books. Before this, books were hard to find and make. The press helped spread new ideas very quickly.

It also changed the languages that authors used. Instead of just Greek or Latin, they used local languages. This helped many more people learn to read. It made literature available to a much wider audience. \n\nMany famous writers lived during these different centuries. In Italy, Petrarch and Machiavelli were very important. Ludovico Ariosto was another great Italian writer. In England, William Shakespeare wrote famous plays. Edmund Spenser and Philip Sidney also wrote wonderful things.

Other writers like Erasmus lived in northern Europe. In Spain, Miguel de Cervantes was a major name. Even in Portugal, Luís de Camões wrote great works. These people helped shape the literature of Europe. \n\nRenaissance writing was different in every single country. The impact changed depending on where people lived. Some areas were Catholic or Protestant. These religious groups experienced the Renaissance in different ways.

Some places were under Islamic rule or followed the Eastern Orthodox Church. These areas were often outside the Renaissance influence. The movement helped people focus on their own lives. It was about learning how to accept what happens. This period helped people find their own true selves. ",
