The city has a unique kind of weather. It has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate. This means it feels like a mix of two worlds. It has the dry, warm air of southern Europe. It also has the wet, marine air of the North Atlantic. Summers are usually warm and sunny. They often reach temperatures around 26°C. The nearby ocean keeps the city from getting too hot.
