Nuts give us a lot of power. They have fats and B vitamins. They also have protein and fiber. People eat nuts in many ways. We can eat them raw. We can roast them for a snack. We can grind them into nut butter. Some people even make nut milk. Some nuts are used to make oil for cooking.

Some people are allergic to nuts. This can make them very sick. Their bodies release a thing called histamine. This causes a reaction in the skin. A peanut allergy is not the same as a tree nut allergy. Peanuts are legumes, not tree nuts.
