Naver is a large online platform from South Korea. The name comes from the word 'navigate.' It means a person who travels through the vast ocean of information on the internet.

Naver started in 1999. It was the first Korean company to make its own search engine. Today, it offers many different tools. You can use it for email, maps, or shopping. It even has a tool called Papago. Papago is a translator that uses AI, or artificial intelligence, to change text into different languages.

One famous part of Naver is Knowledge iN. This is a place where people ask questions. Other users then write the answers. This service was so helpful that it inspired other sites. In 2004, Naver also started Naver Webtoon. This is a place to read digital comics made by artists.

There is also a site just for children called Junior Naver. It has videos, quizzes, and help with homework. Experts check the site to keep it safe. Naver also has a service called Naver Pay. This helps people pay for things on their phones. It is the most used mobile payment service in South Korea.
