It was made by two brothers named Rand and Robyn Miller. They used computers to build a world full of mystery.

In the game, you find a special book. This book takes you to a secret island called Myst. You can also find other worlds called Ages. You reach these Ages by using linking books. Each Age is its own small world. You might visit places like Stoneship or Channelwood.

To explore, you must solve many puzzles. These puzzles use logic and careful looking. There are no enemies to fight in the game. You can move at your own pace. You can even carry journal pages to learn the story.
