MSN is a large website made by Microsoft.

It is a web portal. A portal is a home page that brings many things together. It shows news, weather, and sports. It also has parts for money and travel.

MSN started on August 24, 1995. At first, it was a way to get online. It was called The Microsoft Network. Later, it became a site called MSN.com. In 1998, Microsoft moved everything to that name.

Over the years, MSN has changed a lot. It once had a service called MSN Messenger. It also had a search engine called MSN Search. That search engine later became Bing. Microsoft even used a butterfly logo for MSN in the year 2000.
