Schlick led a group called the Vienna Circle. This group met in Vienna. Many smart people joined him. They talked about science and logic. They believed in logical positivism. This is the idea that we should only talk about things we can prove with evidence. If we cannot prove it, they called it nonsense.

Schlick also wrote about how we find truth. He thought we should use our senses to see the world. He believed in free will. He said people often get confused about what a natural law is. To him, a law is just a way to describe how things act.

Schlick was a kind man. He helped many students. Sadly, a former student killed him at his school in 1936. People still study his big ideas today.
