Liberal feminism is a major way people work for gender equality. This group focuses on making changes through laws and politics. They believe that equality happens when people work within existing systems. Instead of starting a revolution, they seek gradual progress through government reform. This approach is often called mainstream or reformist feminism. They want to make sure women are part of the public world.

How does this movement work to create change? Liberal feminists look at the rules that run a society. They focus on laws, schools, and jobs to find unfairness. They believe that blocking access to these things stops equality. To fix this, they work with leaders and legislatures. They aim to pass new laws that protect everyone's rights. They also want to make sure women have equal opportunities in the workplace.
