Players use a curved basket called a cesta. They wear this on their right hand. They use it to hurl a ball against a wall. The ball moves at a very high speed. Some call it the fastest sport in the world.

The game takes place in a court called a fronton. This court has walls on three sides. The floor has 14 lines. A team scores if the other team misses a catch. In many games, points double after the first round. This is called "Spectacular Seven" or "Spectacular Nine" scoring. The sport is popular in Spain and France. It is also played in places like Florida and Mexico.
