The international Jewish conspiracy is a very widespread and long-running conspiracy theory. It is an antisemitic trope, which means it is a false and harmful idea about Jewish people. This theory claims that a secret, global group of Jewish people works to rule the world. Because the details of the theory change so often, it can spread to many different places. People use many different names for these ideas, such as Jewish Bolshevism or Cultural Marxism. Some even use the term Zionist Occupation Government to claim Jewish control over Western nations. These ideas are not based on truth, but they have caused much harm throughout history.

This false belief became very popular through a fake book. The book is called The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It was a forgery, which is a document made to trick people. The Okhrana, which was the secret police in the Russian Empire, helped create it. The book first appeared as a series of articles in a newspaper called Znamya around 1903. This document is considered the most significant tool for spreading the myth of a world conspiracy. Even though it is a fake, it helped make these ideas a part of modern antisemitism. Many people later used parts of this fake book to create other conspiracy theories.

History shows that these ideas have existed for a very long time. Some people can trace these beliefs back to the thirteenth century. However, the ideas grew much faster during the late nineteenth century. An Ottoman Army officer named Frederick van Millingen wrote a book in 1873 about this topic. Another man named Hermann Goedsche also promoted these ideas in his writing. When newspapers were invented, people began to falsely claim that Jews controlled the press. These writers helped turn old ideas into a new kind of hatred. This history shows how false stories can grow and change over many years.

In Germany, Nazi leaders used this conspiracy theory to justify terrible actions. Adolf Hitler claimed in a 1919 speech that a Jewish conspiracy was trying to weaken Germany. The Nazi leadership believed that Jews were secretly starting World War II. They even claimed that leaders like Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin were just puppets. This belief was a key reason why the Nazis started the Holocaust. They used the idea of a global threat to explain why they were fighting wars.

This shows how dangerous false beliefs can become when leaders use them.

These false ideas still appear in different parts of the world today. In the United States, an industrialist named Henry Ford helped spread these myths. In China, some people believe Jewish financiers control international banking systems. This idea was shared by a writer named Hongbing Song in his books. In Turkey, books have been published that claim a conspiracy is behind political leaders. Even on the internet, people still share these theories in social media threads. Some groups, like followers of QAnon, have also been linked to these ideas. It is important to know that these stories are false and have been used to cause harm.
