Scooby-Doo is a mystery show about a dog and four teens. The studio was very successful. Some people called it the "General Motors of animation." This means they made a huge amount of cartoons.

In 1992, their shows helped launch Cartoon Network. The studio later joined Warner Bros. Animation. Even now, people still use the Hanna-Barbera name for their classic characters.
