It includes singing, dancing, and music. This art grew from the gitano people. The gitanos are part of the Romani group. Their history helped shape the music we hear today. Many different cultures mixed to make flamenco. This includes music from North Africa and the Arab world.

Flamenco uses bright colors like red, white, and gold. Between 1920 and 1955, shows became very popular. People called these big shows "flamenco opera." They were held in large theaters and bullrings. This helped the art spread all over the world. UNESCO named flamenco a great treasure of human culture in 2010. It is a living art that keeps changing with every new artist.
