Some villages are very unique. In Vietnam, some villages float on the water. In other places, houses sit on tall poles over the water. Some villages even sit on floating islands.

These places are more than just spots to catch fish. They have schools, clinics, and shops. They also have ways to fix boats and sell fish.

People have lived in fishing villages for a very long time. Some villages are thousands of years old. In the past, some villagers also made money from shipwrecks. Today, many villages have changed. Some are now big places for tourists to visit.
