Euronews is a large news network. It shares news from a European view.

The main office is in Lyon, France. It started on New Year's Day in 1993. Many groups from different countries helped start it. This group was called SOCEMIE.

You can watch the news on a website or a phone. People can also see it on a TV via satellite. In 2017, the network made a big change. It split its news into twelve separate editions. Each edition uses a different language. This is called a glocal strategy. This means the news is made for local people.

Reporters can share stories from their own homes.

Euronews also works with NBC News. This is a group from America. They joined as partners in 2017. This helps them plan and work together.
