Dobruja is a very windy place. The wind blows on about 85 to 90 percent of all days. In the past, people used windmills here. The weather can change a lot. Warm air comes from the northwest in the summer. Cold polar air comes in during the winter. Near the coast, the Black Sea helps keep the air mild. Some parts of the land are very dry. Other parts have marshy areas like the Danube Delta. Many people live in towns like Constanța and Dobrich. It is a place with a long and busy history.
