Making choices can be hard. Sometimes, people get stuck. This is called analysis paralysis. It happens when a person looks at info over and over. They might fear making a wrong choice. Other times, people make choices too fast. This can happen in a group. This is called groupthink. In groupthink, people want to agree with the group. They do not want to stand out.

Too much info can also be a problem. This is called information overload. It can make it hard to think clearly. Making many choices can also make you tired. This is called decision fatigue. When you are tired, you might act without thinking. Or, you might try to avoid making a choice at all. Scientists study how the brain helps us decide. Parts of the brain help us pick the best path.
