technology Maturity 11-13 Next article →

Business journalists write about money and trade. They track how businesses and economies work. They look at how people buy and sell things. These writers share news through many ways. You can find them in newspapers and on TV. Some even work on radio shows.

This work started a long time ago. In the Middle Ages, it helped trading families talk. In the 1400s, merchants read a paper called Neus Zeitungen. Around 1700, Daniel Defoe wrote about money news. He also wrote famous books.

By 1889, The Wall Street Journal began publishing. In 1888, the Financial Times also started. Today, business news is very important. This is because trade happens all over the world. Many people now have money in the stock market. This means more people read business news to learn about changes.

There are different types of these writers. Some focus on big companies. Others focus on trade or the economy. Some people study how news analysts work. Experts think their jobs might drop by 3% by 2032. Even so, they help us understand our world.
