Yue speakers use their language for many things. They use it for Cantonese opera. They also use it for folk songs. Some Yue words have come from English. For example, they have words for "bus" and "taxi."

English has also learned words from Yue. People use the word "wok" for a cooking pot. They also use "dim sum" for small bites of food. This shows how people share ideas through talk. Yue is a big part of life for millions of people.
