Animals live in different parts of the tree. Birds often sit in the high branches. Some stories say an eagle lives at the very top. Snakes or dragons may live near the roots. This tree connects all parts of the world together. It can also be a source of wisdom. In some tales, a special fruit or water gives life. Many different cultures have these ideas. The Maya people used the ceiba tree as a symbol. In Greek myths, the oak tree was very sacred. These stories show how people wonder about our world.
