This show started with three TV movies. The very first movie was based on a real book. A woman named Jeraldine Saunders wrote it. She was a real-life cruise director on a ship. The show was created by Wilford Lloyd Baumes. The executive producer was Aaron Spelling. He was a very famous producer for ABC. The series was set on a ship called the Pacific Princess. This was a real cruise ship used by Princess Cruises. The show was filmed mostly at studios in southern California.
