One part is the studio floor. This is the stage. Actors or guests stand here. They perform for the cameras. A crew works on the floor too. They use microphones to catch sound. They use bright lights to see. Camera operators move the cameras. A floor manager leads the group. They help the director.

Another part is the production control room. Some people call this the PCR. This is where the show is put together. It is a room for making choices. People use screens to see the video.

Some machines are too loud or hot. They stay in the central apparatus room. We call this the CAR. This room holds the main wires. It also holds the video servers.
