Raymond was a man in Los Angeles. He started a large group called the Crips. He worked with a man named Tookie. Together, they led many people.

Soon, other groups formed to stay safe. These groups did not get along. This led to many fights in the city.

Raymond went to prison for a time. While he was away, the group changed. It became harder to lead them.

When he came home, things were very different. He wanted the groups to stop fighting. He wanted peace.

Sadly, Raymond was killed in 1979. No one knows who did it. His story is a part of history.
