This article covers sensitive topics: religion. Parents can manage visibility in Parental Controls.

Some people create funny belief systems. These are called parody religions. They use humor or jokes to talk about big ideas.

Many parody religions aim to make a point. They might mock a specific faith. Others might mock the idea of belief itself. Some groups use these ideas to show flaws in an argument. For example, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster parodies ideas about how the world began.

Some ideas come from movies or books. People may follow the Jedi from Star Wars.

Another group follows an invisible pink unicorn. Some groups are even based on comic characters. One group, called Dinkoism, follows a character named Dinkan.

These groups can have special things they do. They might have parades, music, or festivals. Some may even try to get legal recognition. They might want to marry people or wear special clothes. While many start as jokes, some followers take the ideas very seriously. They may find deep meaning in the humor.
