The Oder flows into the Szczecin Lagoon. From there, it reaches the Baltic Sea.

Many people live near the water. Wrocław is the largest city on the river. The river is also used for travel. Many boats and large barges move along it. This helps people move goods from place to place. Some parts of the river have canals. These canals connect the Oder to other water paths. This makes it easier for ships to travel. In the past, the river was a key trade route. It has been a part of many countries' history.
