This group of five singers became a huge part of music history. They were known for their singing and their energetic dance moves. The members were Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, and Lance Bass. People loved their catchy songs and how they performed together. They were even called one of the top teen idol breakout moments ever.

Making the group required a lot of hard work and practice. Chris Kirkpatrick started looking for singers in 1994 while working in Hollywood. He spent over a year searching for the right people to join him. The members practiced constantly in a house in Orlando, Florida. They spent many hours learning difficult dance routines and vocal parts. They even traveled to Sweden to record their first album with professional producers. This helped them get ready for their very first public show in 1995.

The group's history began with a special name. Justin Timberlake's mother noticed how "in sync" their voices sounded. The name was also a play on the last letters of the original members' names. The band first found success in Europe and Germany. Their first album was released in Germany in May 1997. It quickly became a big hit in many different countries. They even toured through many parts of Europe and Asia to meet fans.

NSYNC reached record-breaking levels of success in the United States. Their third album, *No Strings Attached*, was a massive hit in 2000. It sold over 1 million copies in just one single day. It also sold 2.4 million copies in one week in the US. This was a record that stayed unbroken for over fifteen years. Their next album, *Celebrity*, also did very well in its first week. They have sold more than 70 million records throughout their entire career.

Even though the group went on a break in 2002, they stayed connected. The members have reunited for special events like the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2018, they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They also worked with many legendary musicians like Elton John and Stevie Wonder. They have performed at huge events like the Super Bowl and the Olympic Games. Their music continues to be remembered by people all over the world.
