It is a very important site for Buddhism. Many people call it one of the four holy mountains in China. The mountain has many peaks. Shiwang Peak is the highest one. It is 1,342 meters tall.

Long ago, a prince named Kim Qiaoque came to the mountain. He lived there for 75 years. He died at age 99. His body stayed intact. People believed he was a holy being named Dizang Bodhisattva. Because of him, the mountain is a sacred site for this figure. There is even a very tall statue of him there.
