Morning is a great time to look at the sky. You can see the planets Venus and Mercury. These can look like a morning star. It is also a good time to hunt for comets. A comet is a space object with a long tail. The tail grows as it gets close to the Sun. People also use the light of dawn to find asteroids. In our bodies, a gene helps us wake up. A gene is a tiny part of our cells. This gene is called Period 3. It has a long form and a short form. The long form helps make you a morning person. The short form makes you prefer the evening. This helps decide when you have the most power to work.
