C. S. Lewis wrote a famous book called Mere Christianity.

He first shared his ideas on the radio. He gave these talks during World War II. Some talks were live. Others were recorded. This was because of the war and new technology.

Lewis wrote about many big ideas. He talked about why God exists. He also spoke about right and wrong. Lewis said most people know a rule for good behavior. He called this the law of human nature. He said this rule is like math or science. It is something people just know.

He also wrote about how to live well. He spoke about being fair and brave. He said the most important thing is to love your neighbor. He thought pride was the root of all evil.

Many people enjoy this book. They like his funny and clear style. Some thinkers disagree with his ideas. For example, some say his logic about Jesus was not strong enough. Still, the book is very popular. It has been translated into over thirty languages.
