Maletsunyane Falls is a big waterfall. It is in Lesotho. This country is in southern Africa. The falls sit on the Maletsunyane River. They are near a town called Semonkong. That name means "Site of smoke." The water falls from a ledge of basalt. Basalt is a type of dark rock. When the water hits the bottom, it makes a loud echo.
