In this game, you race four tokens to the finish. You move your pieces using a single die. Each player gets a color, like red or blue.

At first, your tokens stay in a corner yard. You must roll a six to move a token onto the board. Once they are out, you move them clockwise around a track. If you land on an opponent, their token goes back home. This means they must roll a six to start again. If you land on your own color, you make a block.

To win, you must move all your tokens to the center. This requires an exact roll to reach the final square. Ludo is a popular game in many countries. It is related to an Indian game called Pachisi.
