Over time, things changed. These classes began to include both boys and girls. In many places, the classes cover more than just housework. They now teach about health and the environment. In Sweden, students study how to be smart with money. In Finland, it is a required course for everyone. Today, many schools teach these skills to help people prepare for life and jobs.
